Rakoczy-Fest

Live music, dancing and Franconian specialities all over the place – during the ‘Rakoczy-Fest’, the whole town is in an exceptional situation. Every year, on the last weekend in July, it invites thousands of visitors to have a good time and celebrate the town’s illustrious history. Emperors, kings and artists who made their mark as spa guests are brought to life again and mingle with the celebrating crowd. The climactic events of the festival are the Rakoczy Ball in the ‘Max-Littmann-Saal’  on the Saturday and the historical procession on the Sunday.
